Remote Full stack Developer, datascientist - Montpellier, France

I have primarily worked with various French research projects for the past eight years or so. During this time, I have focused on developing complex models and performing specific tasks in line with research and development.

Primarily, I worked on a large information system called OpenSILEX ( private link , which is used by various laboratories to store scientific data, ensuring that it is reusable and traceable, following the FAIR principles. This system utilizes web semantics languages and technologies such as RDF and JSON-LD for its data layer.

One of the major projects I handled over four years involved modeling an ontology with a high level of abstraction to integrate knowledge from various and numerous fields of agroecology. This was designed to facilitate knowledge inference through the use of AI. Starting from scratch, I developed an internal tool allowing scientists to map their knowledge as a semantic graph in a web client, utilizing Angular for the frontend and Neo4j for data storage.

I have also undertaken several smaller projects, which involved creating API connectors in R or Python, as well as other tasks related to semantics in information systems.

In the past year, I served as the CTO of a French startup where I designed and built the foundation of a non-medicated medical appointment scheduling app called Qanopee. This application includes features such as Google Calendar synchronization, management of financial transactions between Qanopee and practitioners, as well as among users of the platform, and more. It was built using Quasar Dev (Vue 3 framework) and Supabase, and is available at private link for end users and at private link for practitioners.

Alongside these core development tasks, I have provided support to students in statistics with R at Montpellier SupAgro, and for the past two years, I have taught a course on reinforcement learning in Python at Epitech Montpellier.
