Site Redesign - 2021

Used modern React along with GQL and Nextjs to rebuild Influitive’s “Hub” product used by such companies as Adobe and Amazon. Incorporated Functional Programming paradigms to eloquently write

Typescript with libraries such as FP-TS, DatumEither and EffectTS. I also worked collaboratively with the design team to find the best solutions to satisfy design and development criteria.

Tracking and Package management - 2023

I integrated Datadog’s Real User Monitoring for the front end app to provide the team with a clearer picture of where errors and pain points occur most often for our customers. I worked with the team to convert our Ruby packages to the Nix package manager language to run the previously separate apps and services all within the same environment.

Xe.com, Newmarket — Front End Developer

Site Redesign - 2018

Used React (class components) and Styled Components to rewrite Xe's aging main pages which receive around 280 million yearly users. Focused on modernizing the user experience and Accessibility of these new pages.

Regularly made updates and contributed to the creation of many promotional and marketing pages.

Site Redesign - 2020

Complete rewrite of the main 5 pages using React (Functional

components + hooks). Continued to use Styled Components.

Server-side render (SSR) - 2021

With the rebuild freshly launched, the team decided to take the opportunity to take our new pages and implement server-side rendering using NextJS.



Customer Update Script (CUS) - 2021

Contributed to the rewrite of one of Xe's oldest services, an email subscription newsletter that we rewrote using Iterable's subscription service. Used Node and NextJS to update the Iterable databases and React for the user interface.
