Remote Lead Full-Stack Web Developer - De Pere, Wisconsin

I started out as an intern for a start up company. My job was to build a website and I signed a 3 month contract. The contract got extended after I built the HTML, and CSS3 web page and the start up learned that they needed someone to do some web server back-end work. At the time I didn't know anything about back-end development but they gave me the time and space to self-teach PHP. With learning PHP I learned how to do database calls and even learned about encryption and how to better secure user data so they could have a login for the web site.

My current project (MERN stack) is an API server that offers web-tools to edit data that is passed by the API server to the appropriate applications. This project is an on going project as more API's are being developed to assist/enhance the current software that is being used. I am also setting up an event-scheduler in JavaScript to automate and help back up different data being stored in the production database.

Due to how well the API server is doing they now have me on 2 additional web server projects. Both of these projects are currently JQuery and ExpressJS projects. One of which is still in proof of concept stage and is a portal for new clients to sign up. In this portal I learned how to use NodeMailer and attach it to our Mail Gun email server. The other project is a web portal for supervisors and phone agents to log into in order to help identify where training needs to focus for them.
