Remote Fullstack Web Developer - Hammamet, Tunisia

I’m a software engineer with startup and academic experience with a keen regard for conceiving and implementing cohesive software that can scale. I am actively looking for a full stack web developer internship to cultivate a professional network and expand my interests into frontend and backend solutions.

Over the last 3 years, I have worked on 16 collaborative projects through which I have interacted with many teams of various backgrounds and skill sets. By being exposed to this diversity, I have found myself naturally gravitating towards coordinating tasks between team members by compelling them to oversee assignments that matched their natural curiosities. What really helped achieve this end, is relying on AGILE principles to assist the project through its life cycle. Moreover, I was able to effectively translate progress and status breakdown through creating a backlog document, writing user-stories and acceptance norms for project iterations and sharing it with the team.

On the other hand, as an analytical person, my most significant insights came from stretching outside of habitual grounds. That’s why I took it upon myself to publicly present the latest academic project I’ve worked on as part of a team in front of 4 foreign executives as well as an audience of more than 100 people. To me, being able to express my enthusiasm for finding computer solutions in a relatable manner with others, has shaped a complementary communicative profile to my engineering curriculum.

This year, I have managed to integrate my skills with a project a consultation company is working on during my internship there. Since I joined half way through the development phase, the project had already some ready to use features. The only problem was, none of those features were reusable or had the prospect of scaling in mind. That's why I decided to make a library of reusable and scalable components during my free time. Then proceeded to chart out a design comparison between the old approach and my approach and presented it to the SCRUM team. With the help of my colleagues, we have reached consensus on the new strategy for going about the development of the project, by implementing the aforementioned component-based features that are infinitely scalable and reusable for later repurposing.

Finally, I want to mention an entrepreneurial initiative I worked on last year in which I got together with 6 other students and managed to market our expertise to help over 120 students conceive and develop their own websites on Symfony for school. This was important for me because it helped get used to GitHub’s version control features in order to manage and sort out the big volume of projects that was requested during the semester. Not to mention the timing challenge this has presented because of the deadlines which allowed me to practice work under pressure in clutch situations. We’ve luckily had a 100% delivery rate.
