Remote Frontend Developer - Bhubaneswar, India

I am Ashutosh Dash, a creative front-end developer who feels irked when he sees a lousy design. Building more than 20+ websites and some of which are used by real people too, I have developed a very common sense for designs which doesn't look bad at all.

I have over 1 year of professional experience working as a Frontend/UI Developer

I have volunteered as a front-end web developer with GirlScript Bhubaneswar where I contributed to building the community website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

For 3 months I worked with YM Labs where I was mainly responsible for building clients' websites, sometimes even designing them too, using HTML, CSS, React and TailwindCSS.

For another 2 months, I worked with Vichayan where I was building UI for a social network application for researchers/scientists and helping them publish papers in multiple languages, mainly working on React, CSS Modules and Ant Design.

Presently I am working with a very dynamic team of Bookingjini where I am building SASS products for hotel industries. Till now I have developed 4+ live products which are used by hotels across India. Some of it includes building a restaurant food ordering system using QR, a customer walk-in booking system, reservation system for future bookings. I am also the project admin for Bookingjini Icons Pack where I am assigned with managing the issues and PR of contributors under GSSOC. Tech that I am working with mostly is React, NextJS, SASS, CSS Modules, TailwindCSS, Bootstrap, Redux, Mantine and Styled Components.

In the past, I have also done open-source contributions under GSSOC22, Hackincodes and SLop. My contributions involve mostly fixing some minor bugs or adding design assets.

Apart from all of these, my team has been a runner-up in the DelhiHacks hackathon where our team built a smart classroom for the web. Also made it to the top 10 in Utkal Hacks, and HackJini, and got $20 worth of Ethereum in PeddieHacks where I built Cryotokart.
