Description:

I am currently working as a Frontend Developer at Rockbook, where I’ve developed and maintained a responsive story-sharing web application using Angular, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript. In this role, I designed the homepage layout based on Figma designs, enhancing the user interface and overall usability. I also implemented an image-cropping feature using ngx-image-cropper to streamline cover image uploads. Additionally, I replaced hardcoded data with dynamic API integrations using RxJS, improving the app’s scalability and maintainability. I also published reusable UI components to a private npm registry, ensuring design consistency across projects. My experience also includes leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway to enhance CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations.

At Antra, I’ve been working on a real-time messaging system for a social media platform, utilizing React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Socket.IO. I implemented key real-time features, including message delivery, typing indicators, and read receipts, using Socket.IO for efficient real-time communication. I also integrated Redux Toolkit for state management, improving synchronization and reducing bugs. To ensure secure user access, I designed JWT-based authentication and enhanced API performance by implementing pagination and debounce for smoother interactions.

One of the key challenges I tackled at Antra was scaling the Socket.IO implementation to handle increased traffic and concurrent users in a social media environment. This required optimizing WebSocket connections, implementing load balancing, and fine-tuning message broadcasting to maintain performance and reliability during peak traffic.
