My entire career, I have been focused on creating simple and pleasant user experiences. And by extension, I understand the scope of building a system with an engaging user experience. Furthermore, I am driven by building stable systems, iterating on the systems I build, and using those systems to make a user’s life more efficient.
My knowledge of developing clean customer experiences and the systems that support these experiences spans across many disciplines; I have planned and led the development efforts on back end and front end systems. I have worked on ecommerce websites, human resource web applications, distributed financial systems, and enterprise grade desktop and mobile applications for the pharmaceutical industry.
I am a committed follower of Agile methodologies and have seen the success it can have across large and small organizations. I have been on many different types of teams (I prefer keeping it to a size that can be fed by 2 pizzas) and love to mentor and lead developers in best practices.
I think I could be an asset to any product team as productive servant leader and individual contributor.
