Description:
Including my portfolio, I have created seven websites to demonstrate my comprehensive understanding of JavaScript, modern CSS, React, HTML, and Node.
Thanks to the abundance of computer science resources and the availability of enthusiastic educators online, I was empowered to teach myself programming. Learning to implement complex web technologies on one’s own requires self-management and quick problem-solving skills to meet deadlines and keep up with the ever-evolving technological landscape.
As a developer I would be most satisfied working with a company focused on accessibility and generating polished user experiences. My portfolio site, which is designed using vanilla CSS modules, is fully responsive. For the site's navigation menu, I converted an SVG image of my own design into a JavaScript file for styling and animation purposes.
This journey taught me how to set achievable project goals (using version control tools like Git and GitHub) and adjust those goals when faced with unexpected obstacles. I am confident in communicating my knowledge and seeking help from more experienced programmers when needed. While I may not know everything about computer science, I am always eager to learn something new.
