I worked for a financial firm called Letshego Holdings Limited located in Gaborone, Botswana as a React Web developer. I would develop responsive web application using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and associated JavaScript frameworks, for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. Daily, I'd work with UX/UI Designers, Architects, and other developers to implement full stack mobile solutions, translate designs and wireframes into high quality code, develop and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts and troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
My accomplishments were being able to create features and UI improvements that were customer facing and got feedback accordingly. The team I was involved in excelled well as far as producing features on time and being high quality and performant
I also worked for a tech startup called Intrinsic Value LLC located in Nashville, Tennessee as a software engineer. There, I would do extensive and robust research and applying technical knowledge for the website’s functionality and implementation of features necessary to the final product. Achieving this saw an increase in investors’ interest, resources towards the product and higher demand for the product. I also did full stack development and maintenance of the complementary mobile application
I faced many challenges including in-office misunderstandings, working on advanced tasks and being on time with the product delivery, but I am glad to say all those were fixed and improved overtime as I became a better developer
