• Improved the speed and performance of the “Suggested Items” modal pop up when a user adds an item to their
cart by replacing Certona with the Coveo product recommendation model.
• Assisted in migrating all the product landing web pages (PLP) from those using legacy code to React web pages by
updating the URL to the correct structure in the backend using Java in a Rapid Application Developer for
WestSphere Commerce.
• Helped diagnose and rectify CSS errors on product landing pages to improve user experience and site reliability.
• Helped develop a custom form generator in React along with another intern for more than 100 people in the
ecommerce team to help organize surveys.

• Built a multi-page ecommerce site for a fictional board game company using React, Next.js, and Typescript where
users can browse a collection of board games, learn more about the product, and add those products to a cart.
• Learned about and implemented server-side generated pages (SSG), server-side rendering (SSR), and client-side
rendering (CSR) in order to improve user experience through reduced page load times and improve SEO
performance.
• Designed every webpage from scratch by starting with low fidelity wireframes and iterating upon it to deliver a
satisfying final product.
• Used Board Game Atlas as the 3rd party API and the Fetch API to retrieve and display products.
