I have worked as a talent pool at Elewa Education in Kenya for 1.5 years building

Syndic4You and Volk CRSM apps using Typescript, Angular, RXJS, Monorepo,

and writing backend functions using firebase functions. Syndic4you is a property

management app based in Belgium, have a look at the link SYNDIC4YOU. The

codebase of SYNDIC4YOU was huge, and I learned a lot of building features on

top of it using a custom-made open-source library called IOTE built by the CTO

of Elewa. IOTE is built on top of the AKITA pattern taking advantage of the

RxJS. All these skills were very challenging but I learned and became more

productive. On top of this, I was also the co-lead of the DevOps improvement of

the Syndic4YOU APP, writing CI/CD pipeline tests.

I Improved the performance of Elewa apps using incremental builds. This

reduced the build time from over 5 minutes to less than a minute.

I Integrating project tools like slack and Jira with GitHub for easier development

and alerts in case of app failures, new PRs, or failed tests

Mentored a group of 20 refugee students in software engineering to help

underrepresented

groups level up skills in technology. Students participated in Game of Learners

by

Microsoft and career fairs by Elewa education for an apprenticeship program.

This

modern full-stack curriculum included web tools, Front-end frameworks

Angular/React,

databases, and Javascript.
