At Clarity Ventures, I took on a leadership role in designing, developing, and curating content for a diverse range of projects over five years, showcasing my expertise in full-stack web development. My primary focus was utilizing DNN (DotNetNuke) and Clarity Connect for integrating data from various CRMs and applications with the Clarity eCommerce framework, which greatly expanded my international experience, particularly in the realms of eCommerce and HIPAA-compliant medical sites.
During my tenure, I developed custom features for over 40 headless e-commerce projects, employing Angular, React, and C# backend technologies across both DNN and WordPress platforms. My responsibilities included architecting solutions for the Clarity eCommerce Framework, encompassing checkout systems, product comparison tools, registration processes, and advanced product management features.
As a Dev Team Lead, I managed project architecture and task distribution and collaborated closely with project owners on estimations and re-estimations. This role required intensive interaction with various stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, sales teams, executives, and a team of 55 developers. I was also responsible for managing client communication, enforcing ADA compliance standards, and implementing effective SEO strategies.
Key achievements include enhancing performance metrics through tools like Redis and Google integrations (Search Console, Tag Manager), managing bug tracking via Usersnap, and creating internal documentation and certification courses. My work also encompassed developing full-stack web applications.
This multifaceted role at Clarity Ventures not only solidified my skills in languages and frameworks like HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript ES6, Angular, and React but also honed my abilities in tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, Azure DevOps, and more, making me a well-rounded full-stack software engineer.
Every CEF project required server setup, IIS setup, pointing all the resources to the correct directory. CEF requires being built with Visual Studio as it’s a C# .net project. backend with reddish and mssql. The frontend utilized Angular JS, Node.js, Gulp, Bootstrap 3.2 to 4.5, and various other dependencies which needed to be compiled with every build and was a complicated process. It wasn’t until later years we had an installer that cut the setup time down from 1 to 15mins. We utilized all advanced techniques and had a dev server to build off of.
Each project was QAed by devs and a QA guy. We tested products, product cards, featured products, price comparison, user profiles for addresses, credit cards business profiles, product details, checkout was a 5-step process where we could turn on guest checkout. Every change added significant overhead, so we had to nail all custom features down with the client and confirm with project managers.

My role at Clarity Ventures for this project involved spearheading all aspects of development, presenting both a challenge and an opportunity for significant skill enhancement.
A core component of my work was the implementation of JavaScript for date and time functionalities, a critical feature for the site's focus on internal medical documentation. The project began with a comprehensive WordPress redesign, focusing on modernizing the website's look and feel while ensuring its functionality aligned with the client's evolving needs. A significant part of this redesign was the custom plugin development. This plugin was crucial for pulling real-time financial data from the ETFG API, a task that required both technical acumen and a deep understanding of financial data.
