Part of the XiP Desktop team, responsible for maintaining internal web apps that manage Independent Price Verifications operations and reports.

In this role, I utilize JS/TypeScript, React, and GraphQL to develop and enhance our applications. We rely on APIs and microservices to power our apps. Additionally, we utilize external libraries such as AG Grid for data display.

As part of my responsibilities, liaise with stakeholders and different teams to collect business requirements for new and existing features. I also oversee the deployment of our applications. I ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.

When it comes to testing, we employ Vite and React Testing Library to write comprehensive tests for our applications, ensuring high-quality code.

As a senior developer, I actively contribute by assisting and supporting others in their work. I provide guidance and help troubleshoot any challenges that arise.

I am also responsible for writing comprehensive documentation for our codebase and driving app improvements.

Furthermore, I have taken ownership of a project within our team, leading the migration to the NextJS framework and incorporating the Tailwind framework. This initiative has enhanced the performance and development efficiency of the project.

Sky - NOW TV

Part of the NOW TV agile team, building web, hybrid and native streaming apps for the following systems and platforms: web, mobile (iOS and Android), Smart TV (LG, Samsung, Android TV), TalkTalk TV Box, AppleTV, FireTV, consoles – XBOX S/X and PS5

I used JS/TypeScript, React Native, Redux, SASS/SCSS, GraphQL, APIs and microservices. Using Jest for unit testing.

I worked closely with sprint team members, stakeholders and product owners throughout the new and existing initiatives – from planning, through implementing, assisting QA and CI deployment.

I have successfully co-led and implemented a new code testing strategy – migration from Enzyme to React Testing Library.

I have been part of the initiative of migrating NOWTV app codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript.

I have implemented new processes within the engineering team to enhance workflows as well as the quality of the codebase.

I mentored junior developers and graduates and help to increase their product and technical knowledge.

TMG Group – The Telegraph: Travel

I was part of the Telegraph Travel agile team. Working on a custom-built internal travel CMS as well as a portal built with Adobe AEM cms.

I used JS, HTML5/CSS3 with SASS/SCSS, and Node and Java. Built with Jenkins CI and deployed to AWS.

I was involved in Telegraph Travel section redesign in cooperation with designers and broader developers’ forum.

I was a sole developer on a project to upgrade an internal CMS system for managing travel products and services, which increased the editorial teams’ efficiency by 40%.

JustPark

I was responsible for rebuilding the JustPark web app, using Isomorphic React.JS, Redux, SCSS, webpack and Docker.

I Contributed to the new Component Library.

I was responsible for converting graphic designs into fully usable react components.

Just Eat

I was part of the team responsible for JustEat rebranding – rebuilding JustEat website using HTML5, JavaScript and CSS on the front end and C# on the back end.

I was working on the JustEat website shopping journey – from search engine, through product selection, to basket checkout.

I was responsible for implementing complex A/B and multi-variant tests using Optimizely.

BCG Digital Ventures

I worked on an initial phase of a greenfield project, known now as AutoBill app.

I was involved in the design and front-end build process.

Virgin Holidays

I was responsible for implementation of the new version of search-browse-basket-checkout user journey using Angular 2 and SCSS/CSS.

Sky

I was part of the team responsible for Sky.com Homepage project and global masthead project.

I was a lead front-end developer on the Polaris project – new Sky look and feel platform, including redesigning sky.com homepage, shop pages, watch pages and advocating the project across the estate.

I developed a new sky.com responsive homepage on MEAN stack, with React.JS, WebGL (three.js) technology, and parallax scrolling technique.

I was responsible for development of TicTrac services based on custom CMS written in Node.js / Backbone.js, using Mustache.js templating system, and CSS3.

Apptivation

I implemented a new WordPress theme for the company's website, based on a custom design, using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

In this role, I developed advanced animations such as 3D movement and parallax scrolling using pure CSS3.
