With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, I have honed a strong problem-solving foundation that spans from engineering to software development. After discovering my passion for software solutions during my undergraduate studies, I began to pursue software engineering while working full-time in the chemical industry. Through self-study and project-based learning, I acquired proficiency in creating custom MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) applications, showcasing my expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. Additionally, I have cultivated skills in Angular, Java and Python through the same learning process. My experience encompasses both front end and back end development, including database design and deployment on AWS. I have also utilized Docker containerization to streamline and enhance application performance.

In my most recent role as a Full Stack Software Engineer, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of dynamic projects with agile teams of different sizes. I played a key role in enhancing enterprise code and delivered impactful solutions tailored to client needs. A standout achievement was the development and deployment of a scalable exam proctoring application, completed within a tight three-month deadline. This project not only met but exceeded client expectations, reflecting my ability to innovate and execute under pressure.
